Mean Machine

A powerful painting of a top predator.
Increasing in numbers, the goshawk portrayed has become much more familiar over the last few years. 
I have painted this bird life-sized and used a sparing back-drop to help emphasise it's presence.
As these birds age, their eyes gradually become more red in colour...this one is comfortably middle-aged!
