Red Grouse in the Snow

Four red grouse take shelter in the heather on a freezing snowy morning. Above them, a cock merlin perches in the early winter sunshine.  
Although they probably know the presence of each other, the grouse haven't hit panic mode yet and because of this falcons tiny size, they're most-likely safe anyway.
