The title for this painting has the sound of sixteenth century recipe!
Snipe - and especially jack snipe have ridiculously dis-proportionate feet! When painting these, it pays to remamber the old saying "if it's right but looks wrong, it's wrong...but if it's wrong and looks right, it's right!"
