Little Owl and a Quince

Yes, I am aware that the quince in this painting looks like a lemon but the smaller, rounder quinces  we usually have in our garden didn't materialise this year so I got this one from Chatsworth Farm Shop. The yellow of the fruit matches the little owl's eyes quite nicely.
