The Primrose Bank

This painting was inspired by a primrose covered bank in North Yorkshire near to where my late mother lived.
There was often a Robins nest tucked away in the moss and I frequently saw green woodpeckers there too, so I piled them in together and added a hare for good measure!
I thoroughly enjoyed painting this picture from start to finish, bringing back memories of a place I don't visit anymore.
